Scaling in one point perspective.
Set up the two measuring line in right angle. Extended the to lines with an eye level line, so it forms a perfect square. Divide the two measuring lines with any even number.
Draw one line from zero point to the vp. Plus two lines from the half points of the measuring line, then one more line from the eight unit point to the middle of the framing square. You have your first divison point.
From then on, you can have the rest of the perspective divisons using diagonals:

The units could be anything. Repeating through diagonals is the trick. You can mirror the whole drawing in all 4 directions. This scaling is perfect for interiors.

Diagonals are more important than you would think. With diagonals you can repeat the object over and over again in perspective.
